Ate: Breakfast and healthy lunch. Just had snack. Give him dinner. He needs to get more veggies.
Sleep: Woke up at 7:30. Had a good night sleep.
I hope everyone can get past this, but for now it’s the only way to communicate that doesn’t end in hostility. How the hell did two people who cared for each other enough to have a child end up with this level of hate?
Fun times! I need sex. Alcohol and sex. I’m getting it, but I need more and every once in a while, I need it during the week. I’m not an alcoholic or a sexomaniac so back off with your judging. I’m a realist.
One of the good things that came of our split was the couples therapy. It didn’t work for us, but it worked for us individually and helped us understand the fundamentals of making any kind of relationship work, including this one of co-parenting. Cause co-parenting is a life long commitment and the reasons our relationship didn’t work are always going to be there. The only thing I can control is my reaction to our interactions. This breakup was by far the biggest growth experience for me and if I’m gonna raise a well balanced awesome kid, lord knows I need to grow the H up.
Now if you’ll excuse, I’m a go keep it real in the park now with my cute toddler and some inappropriate for my age short shorts.
Update: It is months since I wrote this post and…it gets better.
